1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Coffman Services website and the home services we provide in Shawnee, Oklahoma and surrounding areas. By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our website or services.

2. Services Offered

Coffman Services provides the following home services in the Shawnee, Oklahoma metropolitan area and surrounding communities:

Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) installation, repair, and maintenance
Professional lawn care and landscaping services
Residential and commercial cleaning services
Kitchen and bathroom remodeling
Flooring installation and replacement
Fence and deck construction
General home construction and renovation

All services are subject to availability, scheduling, and applicable Oklahoma contractor licensing requirements.

3. Estimates & Pricing

Free estimates provided by Coffman Services are non-binding and subject to the following conditions:

Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated
Final pricing may vary based on actual project conditions, materials, and scope changes discovered during work
A written service agreement or work order must be signed before work commences on projects exceeding $500
Significant changes to project scope require a revised estimate and written approval

4. Payment Terms

Payment terms are as follows:

Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing
For projects over $1,000, a deposit of up to 50% may be required before work begins
We accept cash, check, credit/debit cards, and approved financing options
Late payments are subject to a 1.5% monthly interest charge (18% annual rate), as permitted under Oklahoma law (15 O.S. § 266)
In the event of non-payment, the customer is responsible for all reasonable collection costs, including attorney's fees, as allowed under Oklahoma law

5. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellation and refund policies are as follows:

Customers may cancel a scheduled service with at least 24 hours notice without penalty
Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a service call fee
For contracted remodel/construction projects, cancellation terms are governed by the individual service agreement
Refunds for completed work are evaluated on a case-by-case basis
Oklahoma's Home Repair Fraud Prevention Act (21 O.S. § 1951.1) protections apply to all applicable transactions

6. Warranties

Coffman Services stands behind the quality of our work:

Workmanship Warranty: We provide a 1-year warranty on all labor and workmanship from the date of project completion
Materials Warranty: Manufacturer warranties apply to all materials and products installed. We will assist you with any warranty claims
HVAC Services: HVAC repairs carry a 90-day labor warranty. New installations carry the manufacturer's warranty plus our 1-year labor warranty
Exclusions: Warranties do not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, acts of nature, or unauthorized modifications

7. Limitation of Liability

Regarding liability:

Coffman Services carries general liability insurance and workers' compensation insurance as required by Oklahoma law
Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the total amount paid by the customer for the specific service giving rise to the claim
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions discovered during work, though we will communicate any findings promptly
Force majeure events (severe weather, natural disasters, supply chain disruptions, pandemics) may affect project timelines without liability

8. Website Use

By using our website, you agree to the following:

You will not use our website for any unlawful purpose
You will not attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or interfere with website functionality
All content on our website, including text, images, logos, and design elements, is the property of Coffman Services and protected under U.S. copyright law
You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our website content without written permission

9. Dispute Resolution

Dispute resolution procedures are as follows:

Informal Resolution: We encourage customers to contact us directly to resolve any concerns. Most issues can be resolved through open communication
Mediation: If informal resolution is unsuccessful, both parties agree to attempt mediation through a mutually agreed-upon mediator in Pottawatomie County, Oklahoma
Legal Action: If mediation fails, any legal action shall be filed in the District Court of Pottawatomie County, Oklahoma, and governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma
The Oklahoma Consumer Protection Act (15 O.S. § 751 et seq.) provides additional protections for consumers

10. Licensing & Compliance

Coffman Services complies with all applicable Oklahoma contractor licensing and bonding requirements. Our team holds appropriate licenses for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general contracting work as required by the State of Oklahoma and the City of Shawnee.

11. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our website or services after changes constitute acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Severability & General Provisions

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Coffman Services regarding website use
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect
Our failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of that provision
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Oklahoma
